"My husband and I stayed at Casa La Pace in May 2012 for several days on our honeymoon. It was absolutely wonderful, the best place we stayed during our trip! Rusty and Pepper, the owners, were extremely helpful in providing advice to help us get to where we wanted to go, as well as maps and information about the area. They were very attentive and made sure we were able to see what we came to see, and pointed out areas not on our list that they thought would be of interest to us. They were just very wonderful people!"

" My Fiance' swept me off my feet and took me to Italy shortly after we got engaged. We stayed in this lovely, quaint Bed and Breakfast, Casa La Pace in Ghivizzano, Italy for a week. It was glorious and the views from our 3rd Floor bedroom was amazing. The food and service was excellent and exactly what I wished for on our vacation. Quite mornings, glorious views, wonderful site seeing trips and the smell of the sweet country flowers. The owners of Casa La Pace, took personal interest in our vacation, and provided us with train schedules, places to visit, hot spots for shopping, perfect picturesque photo shots and visits to the local bakery and gelato shops in the sweet town of Ghivizzano. I think about our trip all the time and cannot wait to go back and visit. My bags are always packed! "

" Although we have previously traveled to Italy, this was the best trip we have had. Both Rusty and Pepper were incredible hosts. Our room had an awesome view of the village. The village where the bed and breakfast is located is a beautiful village full of the friendliest Italians, pastry shops, and bar where we would get our gelatos every night. Our hosts went out of the way to meet every single need we had. We have already made our reservations to return to this incredible home. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. " Having been to Italy a number of times, our stay in Ghivizzano proved to be much more than expected. From Casa la Pace, we walked down to the local pastry shop to get fresh breakfast delicacies. We stopped and visited with the local baker, the local produce shop owner, the local grocer -- and became friends with them all, despite the language barrier. The hosts at Casa la Pace were fantastic -- although Americans, they were our interpreters. Our room was fantastic with a postcard view (we took 30+ shots just out our bedroom window!) Although very old & authentic, the entire facility has been redone with comfort, taste, and a fantastic touch of warmth. We are already planning our return trip for this fall. "

" Prepare to be awestruck! Your hosts, Rusty and Pepper, do all they can to make your stay spectacular. They are very knowledgeable of the area. They picked (for us to visit) several locations from the well-known to the off-the-beaten path. I woke in the morning to a view of the mountains that was totally breathtaking. The views from the patio are remarkable. My room was clean and comfortable ... in fact I enjoyed some of the best sleep I had in years. Breakfasts were ready before I was up. Their food was fresh, tasty, local, well-prepared and attractively presented. It was a beautiful, active and restful respite ... the perfect end to my first ever trip to Italy. I will go back to Italy ... and I will go back to Casa la Pace! "
